About

The Harbour acts as an agent, providing services on fumigation at the terminals of Ukraine, (including additional method of recirculation, fumigation method of blankets – fumisleeves, additional method of recirculation with method of blankets – fumisleeves), the disinfection of holds prior to loading, degassing of the cargo, exposure, control of effectivness of various cargoes, as well as of transport means with loads or without it.
The company attracts subcontractors as an agent aiming to undertake forwarding services and issuance of orders for shipment of export cargoes. And we work with clients worldwide .

We provide execution of the following shipping documents:

  • Bills of lading and/or Mate’s receipts in compliance with Customer’s instructions;
  • Certificates of quality issued by the Contractor’s laboratory;
  • Phytosanitary certificates issued by local quarantine services;
  • Veterinary certificates issued by local veterinary inspectorates;
  • Certificate of origin;
  • Cargo manifest;
  • Non-radiation certificate;
  • Fumigation certificate;

how it works

«Underway decontamination», hereinafter referred to as «Decontamination», is the process of fumigation of grain cargo assigned for consumption beyond the customs territory of Ukraine on the way (as transit), which consists of four main stages:

Insertion of preparation

the first stage of Decontamination is a technologic process of insertion of chemical matter (preparation) which produces toxic gas into fumigated space. It is performed by fumigation team after the termination of cargo handling.

Exposure

the second stage of Decontamination is the time of discharge and exposition of toxic gas into fumigated space (bilge, railroad car, etc) on the way of transport beyond the customs territory of Ukraine.

Degassing

is the third stage of Decontamination, which is the time required for release of fumigated space from toxic gas after the termination of exposure beyond the customs territory of Ukraine or in the railway cars within the customs territory of Ukraine.

Control of Effectiveness

is the fourth (last) stage of Decontamination, which is the check of results of decontamination on the way of transport.
